A Legacy of Service, Care, and Family Leadership Since 1994
Cheatham County Funeral Home was established by Johnny and Shirley Jones*, owners, in 1994 and has provided the Community of Cheatham County with the highest level of professional service and comfort.
Johnny Jones was a licensed funeral director. Johnny had always had a passion for customer service and a lifelong dream of caring for people in their time of need. Cheatham County and the surrounding areas were fortunate when Johnny reacted to his dream in 1994 and alongside his wife, Shirley, continued his dream until his passing in October 2024. Their daughter, Teresa (Jones) Eads and staff continue Johnny and Shirley's business of caring for the community.
A Funeral Home Designed Around Community, Comfort, and Care
Johnny and Shirley surveyed the community and created a funeral home:
- Convenient to where you live, go to church and conduct business
- Comfortable funeral home
- Did not look like a funeral home
- A place you could feel at home in your time of need
- Most of all where you were taken care of by a friend.
