Wilma Geraldine Foston, age 83, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on March 22, 1941, in Clarksville, Tennessee. She worked for State Stove in Ashland City, Tennessee, and later as a domestic cleaner. She is preceded in death by her parents, R.M. and Ada Majors; son, Scottie E. Foston; brothers-in-law, Samuel Smith and Charles Whitsey; and nephew, Thomas Carney, Jr. Wilma is survived by her daughters, Kathy and Vivian Foston; brother, Chester Majors; sisters, Helen Smith, Gail Whitsey, and Quinetine Carney (Thomas); nieces, Wanda Smith, Brenda Smith-Manning (Roosevelt), Monica Malone (Vince), Judy Smith, and Latonya Carney; nephews, Kristopher Whitsey, Michael Whitsey, and Trevor Majors (Heather); and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday, June 14, 2024, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham LLC in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm and on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 12noon until the service hour of 1pm.
