Obituary

Willie Lee, age 80, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on November 23, 2024, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. Willie was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on January 29, 1944, to the late Buford Bell and Lovie Novella Lee. He worked at Danny Holder Automotive and later King's Automotive as a salesman for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford Bell and Lovie Novella Lee; sons, Gary Lee and Matthew Bell; brothers, Todd Bell and David Franklin Lee; sisters, Alercita Lockhart, Geraldine Carney and Linda Teasley; and granddaughter, Alia Plant. He is survived by his son, William D. Lee; daughter, Carman Briscoe-Lee (Austin Felts); brothers, Hubert Darnell Carney and Thomas Carney (Quinetine); sisters, Vickie Carney, Benetta Bowers (Grant), Charlene Bell (Grayling), Carolyn Bell and Gail Bell; and grandchildren, Cayden Felts, Lydia Felts and Damien Felts. Funeral Service for Willie will be Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Sister Synovia Everett and Robert Joyner officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 3, 2024, before the service from 10 a.m. until the service hour of 12noon. Pallbearers will be Kris Whitsey, Curtis Bell, Sharmar Bell, Miguel Caruso, Kelvin Bell and Austin Felts.
