AKINS, William "Bill" Leslie Akins, age 77, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017. Mr. Akins was born August 9, 1939, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late George Henry and Lillie Edna Akins. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired electrician from TVA Local Union 429. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Henry and Lillie Edna Akins; wife, Ida Akins; brothers, G.H. Akins and Jimmy Akins; and granddaughter, Kailee Paige Akins. He is survived by his children: Randy (Victoria) Akins, Rhonda (Chris) Myers, and Ronald Wayne (Angela) Akins; brothers, Herman, Oscar, and Ernest Akins; sister, Joyce Houchin; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
