KOHAL, William Harold, age 77, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015, at his home in Ashland City, Tennessee. He was born in Winona, Minnesota, on May 16, 1937. He worked as a manager and retired after 35 years from Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois. He later lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, working for the University of Hawaii Student Housing and was on the Board of Directors for the Mount Terrace Condominiums. Mr. Kohal was a 32nd degree mason and a separate masonic service will be held at graveside. He is preceded in death by his mother, Adeline Kohal Laska and a sister, Mary Hammon. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Betty Jane Mauschbaugh Kohal formerly of Cumberland University Jeanette C. Rudy School of Nursing and now of Breckenridge School of Nursing; sons, Jason Kohal of Fairview, Tennessee, and William Erwin Kohal (Janice) of Morton, Illinois; daughters, Kimberly Adams (James) of Bargersville,IN and Pamela Myers of Peoria, IL; one stepdaughter, Christina Cole (Michael) Fairview TN; several brothers and sisters including: Joseph Laska (Kate), Robert Laska and Julius "Pudge" Laska (Pam) all of Wabasha, Minnesota, Jerry Laska (Jackie) of Redwing MN; sister Cora Vaaler (Lee); grandchildren, Christine Huston (John), Samantha McCord (William Scott), Greg Kohal (Danielle), Kyra Cole, and Jill Kohal and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015, at 11:30am in the Chapel of St. George's Episcopal Church, 4715 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37205, with Rev. Samuel Adams, Associate Rector and Pastor Perry Muse officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 17, 2015, at the church prior to the service from 10am until 11:15am. Burial will follow the service at 1pm in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee.
