GREEN, William James "Jay", age 90, passed away at St. Thomas Rutherford County on April 27, 2015. He was born November 6, 1924, in Columbia, Tennessee, to Johnny Martin Green and Janie Gertrude Foster Green. He was a United States Army Veteran and worked as a truck driver. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Helen Sanders Green; and sister, Dorris O. Green. He is survived by his daughter, Donna (Robert) Wayman; sister, Nellie Green; grandchildren, Gregory (Kim) Wayman, Jamie (Carla) Wayman, and Terre (Michael) Farris; and three great-grandchildren, Evan, Ginny and Ella Wayman. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 30, 2015, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Ted Kerley and Brother Michael Farris officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 2pm to 7pm and on Thursday from 9am until service hour of 12noon.
