Willard "Pete" Eugene Case, age 78, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021, after a long illness. While our hearts are saddened, we are rejoicing in his peace.  Born on Christmas Day and died on Easter Sunday, may he find a golf course in heaven.   Father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many, Pete was born on December 25, 1942, in Hendersonville, Tennessee, to the late Willard and Elizabeth (Presley) Case. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.  He was a member of Neptune UMC and a retired shipping and receiving manager for State Industries where he worked for forty years. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jean Justice Case; sisters, Shirley Case and Mary Francis Case; and great-grandson, Jesse Coleman. He is survived by sons, Jeff (Wendy) Case and Neil Owen; daughters, Barbara (Ken) Jones and Sheryl (Howard) Jackson; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral service for Pete will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021, in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Hix officiating.  Burial will follow in Felts Cemetery in Ashland City. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 6th, from 11am until service hour of 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pete to Alive Hospice or the charity of your choice.
