Wanda Mae (Smith) Pittman, age 74, passed away on November 19, 2021, at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee, surrounded by her family. Wanda was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 7, 1947, to the late Clarence Jason Smith and Betty Louise Cadle Smith. She was a retired secretary for Fayette County School Board in West Virginia before coming to Nashville and working for the Davidson County School Board. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Thomas Pittman, Sr. She is survived by her son, James Thomas Pittman, Jr., (Valerie); daughter, Janel Pittman; brothers, Nathan Lee Smith (Vicky) and Paul Kevin Smith (Mary); and grandchildren, T.J., Taylor, Tyler, and Trentyn Pittman. A visitation will be Monday, November 22, 2021, from 5pm to 7pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home.
