DIXON, Wanda Faye, age 54, departed this life on April 22, 2013. She is preceded in death by her father, William Walter Davis; husband, Charles Franklin Dixon and grandson, James Christopher Johnson. She is survived by her mother, Alma Elizabeth "Liz" Davis; son, Dusty (Amanda) Dixon; daughter, Michelle (James) Johnson; sisters, Betty Diane (Gary) Gibbs and Camille Lynn (Victor) Gilmore; and grandchildren, Gavin, Landon, Charli-Anne, Shelby and Colby. She was born in Clarksville, Tennessee, and worked as a spud welder for State Industries. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Mark Smith officiating. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday and Wednesday, April 23rd and 24th, from 2pm to 7pm and on Thursday from 10am until service hour of 2pm. Burial will follow in the Friendship Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Dusty Dixon, Gavin Dixon, Wayne Peden, Dakota Peden, Johnathan Peden, Tyler Cherry, Mallachi Mayurik, and Devin Hamilton.
