ADCOCK, Walter Lee, age 73, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Walter was born on September 19, 1941, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Walter Isaac Adcock and Laura Mae Ashworth Adcock. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Sam Adcock and sister, Annie Mae Adcock. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Annette Adcock; son, Burt Adcock; daughter, Suzanne Heggie; brother, Andy Adcock (Patty); and four grandchildren, Dacy and Will Adcock and Jennifer and Jason Heggie. Walter was a member of the Neptune United Methodist Church, worked for Acme Boot and Timco and was a welder and woodworker. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Reverend Penny Stratton officiating. Burial will follow in Neptune-Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 1, 2015, at the funeral home from 3pm to 7pm and on Tuesday before the service from 10am until service hour of 11am.
