W.B. Sanders, age 78, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014. He was born January 19, 1936, to Walter B. Sanders and Bertha Maxey Sanders. W.B. worked as a drywall contractor and in his later life worked as a cattleman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Pat Sanders (Evans); brother, Buster Sanders; sisters, Mary Neely Shank, Evelyn Penner, Doris Ellis and Agnes Walker. He is survived by his son, Tim Sanders (Lanae) of Smyrna, TN; daughter, Denise Sheppard (Westley) of Cottontown, TN; brother, Max Sanders of Chatsworth, CA; 3 granddaughters: Suzanne Sheppard of Goodlettsville, TN, Amanda Moore of Cross Plains, TN, and Calla Sanders of Columbia, SC; 5 great-grandchildren: Savannah Rippy, Charlotte and Colten Spitler and Wesley and Sadie Moore. Funeral service Thursday, October 30, 2014, at 1pm in the Cheatham County Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Sanders delivering the eulogy. Visitation with the family Wednesday, October 29, 2014, from 2pm to 7pm and on Thursday from 11am until service hour of 1pm. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, TN.
