Preceded in death by wife, Ethel Archey; parents, Dave and Eva Allison Archey; brothers, Milton, Jim and Ray Archey; sisters, Barbara Presley and Dot Oliphant. Survived by his devoted companion, Louise Morrow; daughter, Darlene (Donnie) Hampton; grandchildren, Billy, Stacie (Tommy) and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Devin, Kassie and Jaydin; brother, Toby; sisters, Betty and Jettie Mae. He was a WWII veteran and retired from CSX Railroad after 46 years. The life celebration service will be at 12pm on Friday, May 18, 2012, in the Cheatham County Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 10am-8pm and on Friday from 9am to service hour of 12noon.
