Vernette L. Wrider's Obituary
Vernette L. Wrider, age 95, formerly of Cedar Falls, IA, passed away peacefully at Vantage Pointe Village in Ashland City, Tennessee, on Sunday, July 21, 2019. Vernette was born in Cedar Falls, IA, on October 15, 1923, the daughter of Howard and Leta Hilton Wright.
She married Robert Wrider on July 15, 1942, in Lancaster, MO, and they were blessed with four children.
Vernette was a member of Waterloo First United Methodist Church. She worked and retired as a teacher's aide in the Waterloo School System.
She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Ziegenfuss, of Lakeland, FL and Stacey (Bill) Lyness, of Ashland City, TN; son, Bradley Wrider, of Aurora, CO; eight grandchildren, Debi George, DeAnn Coon, Douglas George, Bryan Ziegenfuss, Jennifer Scott, Emily Carroll, Mitchell Lyness, and Stephen Wrider; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Vernette is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wrider; her parents; a daughter, Bobbette Snoderly; and son-in-law, Bill Snoderly.
