Travis "Neal" Ray, age 79, passed away on September 11, 2021, at his residence in Cheatham County, Tennessee. Neal was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on March 22, 1942. He was a welder at State Industries for many years. Neal is preceded in death by his parents, Woodson and Audie Staggs Ray; brothers, Howard Ray, Paul Ray, Raymond Ray, Jimmy Ray, Billy Ray, and Sammy Ray; sisters, Joyce Black and Edith Bradley. He is survived by his wife, Norma Sue Ray; son, Dale Ray (Brenda); daughters, Wanda Hunter (Young) and Pam Lee (Jeremy White); his grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Randy Johnson, Reece Hunter, Lara Hunter (Nick), Kelsey Lacy (Stephen), Harley Lee, and Waylon Lee; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 2pm in the chapel with Brother Terry Forrest officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 15th, from 10am until the service hour of 2pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Reece Hunter, Tyler Johnson, Nick Hunter, Harley Lee, Waylon Lee, and Jeremy White.
