TONYA LYNN BISHOP, age 43, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Tonya was born July 24, 1974, in Nashville, Tn, to Russell Wayne Kirby, Sr., and Judy Teasley Kirby Burt. Tonya formerly worked in insurance for CVS Healthcare. She was a free spirit who loved to ride Harleys and loved to dance to the music of the band Daydreamer. Tonya never met a stranger. She lived for her children. Tonya will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her parents: Russell Wayne (Hazel) Kirby, Sr., and Judy Teasley Burt; sons: Austin, Tristin and Brandon Bishop; daughters, Megan, Madison and AnnaBelle Bishop; brothers, Russell Wayne Kirby, Jr, Russell Raymond Wesley Kirby, and Donald Wayne Kirby; grandson, Chase Michael Bishop; her significant other for over 10 years, Randy Smith; and her four-legged ray of sunshine, Dash. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, at 6pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bruce Kirby officiating.
