Thomas Eugene Williams, age 90, passed away on Monday August 3, 2020, at his home in Ashland City, TN. Thomas was born in Hermitage, Tennessee, on July 31, 1930, to the late Lowell L. Williams and Bessie Morris. Thomas served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1952 he was a seaman on the U.S.S Toledo. Thomas received China service medal, Korean service medal (Three Stars), Navy occupation service medal and ROK Presidential unit citation medal. Thomas also worked at Dupont as a Re-Actor operator after discharge from the Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Bessie Morris Williams. He is survived by his son, Norman Lee Williams; stepson, Johnny Cole (Amanda); daughter; Jenny Lynn Powell (Randy); stepdaughter, Rhonda Baker (James), grandchildren; Courtney Favors (Cliff), Joshua Cain Baker, Gregory Bryce Baker (Pattie), Mackenzy Cole, Morgan Cole, Brandi Stewart (Daniel), Kristal Bagwell (John), Charlie Adams, Anthony Adams, great-grandchildren; Carson Favors, Cameron Favors, Julie Favors, Taylor Favors, Leedivie Bryce Baker, Colt Stewart ,Kadence Bagwell, Austin Bagwell, Peytin Bagwell, Kaylea Stewart, D J Stewart, Skylar Stewart, Jace Drouillard and Luna Baker. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00am to service hour of 2:00pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Petway Church of Christ Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
