GRIMES, Thomas "Tom" Marvin, age 85, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Marvin Grimes and Loie Boekel Grimes; his wife, Dorothy Ruth Grimes; daughter, Linda Carol Grimes and one sister. He is survived by his sons, Michael Grimes of Ashland City, TN, and David Ronald (Becky) Corzine of Kingsport, TN; daughters, Lisa Warde of Stone Mountain, GA, and Susan Grimes of Ashland City, TN; grandchildren, Jonathan Carney, Heidi Corzine, and Noah Thomas Grimes; and three great-grandchildren. Tom was a retired U.S. Marine Corps Veteran achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. He worked for the State of Tennessee and H&R Block as an accountant. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at 11am in the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN, with full military honors. Visitation with the family at the funeral home on Monday, October 14, 2013, from 4pm to 7pm and on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, from 9am until 10am.
