DAVY, Thomas Ray "Tommy", age 57, of Ashland City passed away at his home on Thursday, April 24, 2014, surrounded by family and friends that loved him. Tommy was born February 10, 1957. He was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church and worked as a parts manager for Hertz Heavy Equipment Rental. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Moseley Farrell; birth father, Robert Joseph Davy; grandparents, Ray and Lella Moseley, Anna Thomas; and Roy and Katie Carney. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Smith Davy; son, Bobby Joe Davy; daughter, Tosha (Jordan) Adkins; father, George Farrell; sisters, Telia (Buford) James, Teresa (Tommy) Wyatt, Teva (Bobby) Chaffin; brother, Tim (Laura) Farrell; 3 grandchildren, Kylie Jo Davy, Tucker and Turner Adkins. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at 3 pm with Bro. Terry Forrest and Bro. Jon Forrest officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 3 pm to 8 pm and Sunday from 12 noon until the service hour of 3 pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Agee, Jack Burnett, Elvin Rediker, Ricky Jennette, John Burgess, and Sammy Ellis. Honorary pallbearers are the friends Tommy has made over the years.
