ROBERTS, Thelmon B., age 79, passed away peacefully on August 8,2014. Thelmon was born April 11, 1935, to George Bernard Roberts and Edith Dawes Roberts. He is preceded by his parents and wife, Annie Christine Roberts. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Stacey and Renea Perron; brother, Harold Gene Roberts; sister, Dorothy Ann Gilbert (Jimmy); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Thelmon was a laborer in construction and loved to garden in his flowers. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Leon Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am until service hour of 1pm on Tuesday. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
