HUTCHENS, Tex Earl, age 75, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016, at TriStar of Ashland City in Ashland City, Tennessee. He was born September 23, 1940, in Whitby, West Virginia, to Walter Mack Hutchens and Maudie Ellen Waddell Hutchens. He was a member of Mason's in Ashland City, Tennessee, and worked as a plumber from 1967 to 2009. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma Sue Hutchens; two sons, Allen Boyd and Charles Earl Hutchens; brothers, Buck Farley and Bill Hutchens; sisters, Mary Goodwin and Ellen Meek. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Hutchens; brothers, Benny Hutchens (Billie) and Ervin Hutchens (Charlene); and two grandchildren: Katherine Rose (Brian) and Rebecca Gohl (Karl). Funeral service will be Thursday, February 11, 2016, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Trent Maupin officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, from 1pm to 7pm and on Thursday from 11am until service hour of 1pm.
