Terry Samuel Marshall, 67, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 3, 2021. He was born in Fulton, Kentucky. He attended Ashland City United Methodist Church and served on the Board of Trustees. He was second Vice President of the Ashland City Lions Club. He loved God, family (including his loyal dog Max), baseball, golf, the community, and Tennessee Titans football. He is survived by Cindy Marshall, his wife of nearly 36 years; son Ryan Marshall; daughters Amy Pemberton (Randall), Rachel Fox, and Haley Marshall; grandchildren Gracie, Olivia, and Marshall Pemberton, and Audrey Fox; brother Scott Glasgow (Tammy); nephews Jonathan Glasgow, Shane Slack (Veronica), and niece Kaitlyn Glasgow; brother-in-law Brian Slack (Lois); sister-in-law Nancy McMullin (Alan); extended family, and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Sammye and Larry Glasgow, and John Marshall and his nephew Joshua Bowden. Terry retired from Spirit Investment Partners and was most recently a brand ambassador for Heaven's Door Distillery. He was highly respected in his industry. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 7, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Bobbie Martin officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 6 from 3-7pm and Wednesday, April 7 from 11am until the service at 1pm. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Ashland City. Serving as pallbearers are John Abernathy, Fred Joseph, Doug Goodrum, Steve Miner, Bill Blackwell, and Mike Roberts. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Ashland City Lions Club.
