ALLEN, William Terry age 76, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Farmer Allen and his parents John D. Allen and Nannie Hicks Allen. He is survived by daughter Terry (Duane) Bishoff of Tampa, FL and son Scott (Tamara) Allen of rural Zephyrhills, FL; step daughters, Debby Flesner and Becky (John) Frazier of Rantoul, IL; step sons, Cliff (Krista) Eley of Hermitage,TN, Butch (Ginger) Eley of Brentwood,TN, Chuck (Tammy) Farmer and David (Kimberly) Farmer of Pleasant View, TN; 20 grandchildren and 5 great grand children; brothers, Bob (Carol) Allen of Daytona Beach, FL and Hicks (Donna) Allen of Cheap Hill, TN. Mr. Allen served in the US Air Force for 27 years, retiring with the rank of CMSgt (E9). He was a member of The Ashland City United Methodist Church, Ashland Lodge 604 F&AM, Scottish Rites, Al Menah Shrine, American Legion Post 40 and the Ashland City Lions Club. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Loyd Mabry officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Hills Cemetery, Ashland City TN. Family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 4pm-8pm and on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 10am to service hour of 2pm. There will be a Masonic service Sunday, June 30 at 7pm.
