Teresa "Rose" Walker, age 65, passed away on August 29, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late James Luther Hayes and Cassie Biggs Hayes. She was a retired factory worker from Genesco and Springs Bath Fashion and a loving mother to her son, D.J. and most recently doting grandmother. Rose is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Jaret Walker, Sr.; brothers, Vernon Woodard "Woody" Hayes and James Allen Hayes; and sister, Margaret "Deenie" Bryan. She is survived by her son, D.J. Walker (Rachel Phillips) and sister, Ann Sexton; granddaughter, Eleanor Mae Walker; and niece, Tammy Tinin. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm.
