Susie Frances Fizer, age 94, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Frances was the youngest of 11 children. She was born July 12, 1924, to the late Andrew Jackson Bowker and Nancy Maybelle Gafford Bowker. She was a member of Ashland City First Baptist Church and a retired dietician from Cheatham County Nursing Home. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Fizer and siblings, Lester Bowker, Alma Burgess, Irene Bowker-Clendening, Emma Lee Bowker-Hunter, Vera Bowker-Wakefield, Clara Baggett, Liz Osborne, Ruth Fizer and Willie Bowker and Sara Inez (Kitty) Bowker. She is survived by her son, Anthony (Linda) Fizer; daughters, Sandra (John) Pentycofe and Teresa (Steve) Webb; grandchildren, Jeff (Claudette) Fizer, Tammy (Bill) Wemyss, Lori Worster, Andrew Pentycofe, Amber (Thomas) McClellan and Stephen (Chloe) Webb; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; special person in her life, Sondra Fisher; and beloved pet Copper the Cat. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 9th, from 4pm to 8pm and on Wednesday, April 10th from 9am until service hour of 11am.
