Susan Ann Dewalt, aka Nanny, age 72, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away at the Residence at Alive Hospice on Monday, May 27, 2024. She was born in Montrose, Pennsylvania, on April 15, 1952, to the late Leslie Stone and Bertha (Lewis) Stone. She worked in the restaurant industry and will be remembered for her time at Sue's Kitchen. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Bertha Stone; companion of 16 years, Phillip Batts; brother, Donnie Stone; and brothers-in-law, Dave Torrey and Jack Weller. She is survived by her daughters, Emmy Dewalt and Leslie Carter (Horlin); brother, Roger Stone (Connie); sisters, Nancy Davies, Dottie Weller, and Jean Torrey; 4 nieces; 9 nephews; grandchildren, Dominic Dewalt, Brandi Dewalt, Summer Brummett (Blake Adcock), and Jordan Dewalt; and great grandchildren, Toryn Waites, Jaylen Dewalt; Malik Dewalt, and Maylen Dewalt.
