Sue Collier, age 86, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the Waters of Cheatham in Ashland City, Tennessee. She was born on June 25, 1938, in Gallatin, Tennessee, to the late Ramsey Casteel and Mae (Pearson) Casteel. Sue graduated from Gallatin High School. She worked as a manager at Williams Jewelers in Ashland City, Tennessee. She was a member of Bluff Creek Bluegrass. Sue will be remembered fondly by everyone that knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ramsey and Mae Casteel; husband, George T. Collier, Jr.; brother, Lloyd Casteel; and sister, Linda Austin. She is survived by her sons, Toney Collier (Donna) and Tommy Collier; brother, Larry Casteel; grandchildren, T.J. Collier and Brooke (Collier) Slaughter (Jeffrey); and great-grandson, Zane Collier. Memorial service will be Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Visitation will be the same day from 12noon until the service hour of 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
