Sue Carolyn (Dozier) Blanton, age 80, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. She was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on February 23, 1944, to the late William Bradley Dozier and Junia Morris Dozier. She was a homemaker. Sue is preceded in death by her parents, William and Junia Dozier; husband, Cleavland High Blanton; brother, William Ray "Rusty" Dozier; and sister, Peggy June Biggs. She is survived by her sons, Dennis Dozier (Jane), Bradley Bryan Blanton, and Morris Blanton (Gwen); sister, Brenda Boyte (Charles); and grandchildren, Orion Blanton, Ilana Blanton, Katelynn Terry, and Jackson Dozier. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dozier Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
