In Loving Memory of Starlina “Star” Cochran 

Starlina “Star” Cochran, age 49, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family who loved her dearly, including her loving father, Stanley A. Cochran; loving brother, Danny Cochran (Candye Cochran); special niece, Caitlin "Cakey" Crawford (Mark); beloved nephews, Nolan and Beckett Crawford; beloved cousin, Mike (Brandy) Cochran and special friends Michelle, Natasha, and Breanna Bower, Kelly Thornhill, Edna Crawford, and Joanne Sutherland.

Star was employed at C2 Machine and took great pride in her work. She especially loved working out of her pink toolbox.

Outside of work, she enjoyed the simple things that made life fun. Star was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan who loved reading and spending time outdoors, especially fishing and riding ATVs. She also enjoyed playing Nintendo Switch, particularly The Legend of Zelda, with Nolan and Beckett.

Star will be remembered for her big heart, her love for her family and the many things that brought her joy. But it’s the everyday moments that will be missed the most. Her absence will be felt in the conversations that will no longer happen, and in all the little times when those who loved her wish they could share just one more laugh, story, or adventure. Rest easy, Star. Your work here is done, but the love, laughter, and memories you leave behind will live on forever.

Star's wishes for cremation will be honored. A private graveside service will be conducted at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pink Out for Hope or Vanderbilt Children's Hospital for Childhood Cancer.
