STANLEY "RAY" LOVELL, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at The Residence @ Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. Ray was born in Tennessee on February 16, 1937, to the late Stanley D. Lovell and Annie Belle Sanders Lovell. He was a high school graduate and worked as a truck driver. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terry Lovell. He is survived by his brothers, Wayne (Shirley) Lovell and Jimmy (Anita) Lovell; nephew, James Stanley Lovell and a host of other nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved pet, Sally. Funeral service will be Friday, June 30, 2017, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, June 29th from 4pm to 8pm and on Friday from 9am until service hour of 11am. Burial will be in Shearon Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee, and family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
