SHIRLEY WYLLENE JOHNSON, age 76, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at NHC in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Shirley was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 3, 1941, to the late Elmer and Dorothy Balthrop Hudgens. She was a graduate of Madison College Academy and member of the Madison Campus of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Shirley was a homemaker to her late husband and children. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel Dean Johnson, Sr., and brother, Denson Hudgens. She is survived by her two sons: Robert "Allen" Dixon and Daniel (Kerry) Johnson, Jr.; two daughters: Tina (Ralph) Brown and Rhonda (Meredith) Hudgens; two brothers: Meredith (Rhonda) Hudgens and Landron (Fredda) Hudgens; sister, Susan Harding; and 7 grandchildren: Colin Dixon, Devon Dixon, Zachary Brown, Austin (Molly) Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Nathan Johnson and Rachel Hudgens. Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 20th at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Dennis Stirewalt officiating. Burial will follow in Hudgens Family Cemetery in Chapmansboro, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, December 19th from 3pm to 7pm and on Wednesday, December 20th from 11am until service hour of 1pm.
