CAPPS, Shirley Temple, age 77, passed away at her home on Saturday, Nov 15, 2014. She was born in Nashville, Tn, to Joe Odom and Ruby Meadows Odom on Nov 21, 1936. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63 years, Charlie Capps; daughter, Shirley Annette McCoy; brothers, Howard and Junior Odom; sisters, Christine Underwood and Jean Capps. She is survived by her three sons: Charles Ricky Capps, Jim Ray Capps and Ben Capps (Blanca); brothers, Joe and Odell Odom; sister, Petey; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Shirley was a member of Friendship Free Will Baptist Church in Ashland City, TN, for 42 years and a homemaker. Funeral service will be Wed, Nov 19, 2014, at 10am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Cecil Boswell officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashland City, TN, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, Nov 18, 2014, from 2pm to 7pm and on Wed. from 9am until service hour of 10am.
