Sandra Jean (Jones) Morgan, age 82, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at her home in Ashland City, Tennessee. She was born in Warren County, Tennessee, on June 27, 1942, to the late James Carl Jones and Quixie Lee (Hayes) Jones. She married Joe Bratton Morgan, Jr., on March 30, 1960. She was a member of Joelton First Baptist Church in Joelton, Tennessee. She graduated Greenbrier High School Class of 1960. Sandra worked as a dispatcher in the trucking industry. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Bratton Morgan, Jr.; parents, James and Quixie Jones; son, Jimmy Dale Morgan; brothers, Orion Lee Jones and James Robert Jones; and sisters, Emma Louise Pack, Juanita Walker, Jane Sanders and Betty Dent. Sandra is survived by her son, Larry Joe Morgan; daughter, Cynthia Louise Hensley; stepdaughter, Vickie Terrell; grandchildren, Amanda Jo Staples (Beau), Chase Lee Morgan (Megan), and Eric Hensley; and great grandchildren, Landon Lee Morgan and Ezekiel Joe Bratton Staples. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother David Royalty officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham LLC in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 3pm to 7pm and Thursday before the service from 11am until service hour of 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Dent, David Batson, Eric Hensley, Chase Lee Morgan, Beau Staples, David Morgan, and Steve Batson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St.
