Sandra "Sandy" L. Pannell, age 67, passed away at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Ashland City, Tennessee, on September 8, 2019. Sandy was born in Clarendon, Arkansas, on December 27, 1951, to the late James Elmer Hurst and Mary Virginia Swaffar Hurst. She was a retired social worker. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmy David Hurst; step-brother, Jay Henderson; and sister, Gracie Partaine. She is survived by her children: Mary (John) Troup, Timothy Pannell and Allan Humes; brother, Andrew Hurst; sisters, Patricia Hurst Brophy and Cassandra (Gene) Craig; step-sister, Martha Henderson; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 14, 2019, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Moore officiating.
