Samuel "J.D." Smith, age 80, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Signature Health Care in Madison, Tennessee. J.D. was born in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Charlie Sydney and Letha Louisa (Knight) Smith on December 14, 1940. He was a retired farmer. J.D. is preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his sister, Tillie Graham, and a host of nieces and nephews.
