DUKE, Ruby Laverne, age 80, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Birtie Perry Hudgens; husband of 62 years, Billy Jack Duke; and sister, Charlie Mai Douglas. She is survived by her son, Steve (Karen) Duke; daughters, Rachel (Kevin) Ellis and Diane Watkins; brother, Harvey Hudgens; sister, Peggy Sewell; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Jackson's Chapel Cemetery in Charlotte, TN, on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, July 3, 2013, from 10am until 2pm. Burial will follow in the Jackson's Chapel Cemetery in Charlotte, TN. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
