On March 21, 2025, Rosemarie Ulrey went home to her Lord and Savior. Born on May 31, 1955, in Phoenix, AZ, she was a talented seamstress, a gifted cook, a devoted wife of 50 years to David Ulrey, a nurturing mother, and a loyal friend. She built a life full of faith, kindness, and generosity, always offering her time and talents to others.
She built a meaningful career with the Cheatham County School System, where she was respected and loved by teachers, administrators, and students alike. A faithful member of the Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ, her faith guided everything she did and was the foundation of her love for family and community.
Preceded in death by her parents, Preacher John and Virginia Baldwin, and parents-in-law Preacher Ronnie and Sue Ulrey. She is survived by her loving husband, David Ulrey; her children, Clayton and Sara Beth; her sisters, Brenda and Teresa; her brother, Jeremiah, and his wife, Marie, and her brothers- and sisters-in-law. She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her spirit of warmth and care.
A life well-lived and well-loved, Rose's legacy will continue in all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday, March 27, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cheatham County Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held on Friday at Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ in Ashland City, beginning at 11 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Potter Children's Home (
