Ronnie Roy Shrout, age 79, passed away at his home in Ashland City, Tennessee, on Saturday morning, May 29, 2021. Ronnie was born in Kingwood, West Virginia, on April 11, 1942, to the late Roy L. and Helen Trowebridge Shrout. He was a member of Friendship Free Will Baptist Church, a United States Army Veteran and a retired truck driver. He is preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Scottie Hudson; niece, Christy Boyd; siblings, William (Christine) Shrout, Doris Gene Lesher, Robert (Liz) Shrout, Shirley Feather, Wilma Poling, Charles Shrout, Clyde Shrout, and Jerry Shrout. He is survived by his wife, Louann Morris Shrout; son, Shane (Dawn) Shrout; nephew, Ronnie Hudson; niece, Trina Hudson Novak; brothers, Noah "Butch" (Kathy) Shrout, Jack (Bonnie) Shrout, Tim (Sandy) Shrout, and Randy (Belinda) Shrout; grandchildren, Elizabeth Shrout and Brittany Cunningham; and his pride and joy, Snowball. Funeral service for Ronnie will be Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 1pm in the Chapel of Friendship FWB Church with Brother Cecil Boswell and Brother Dwayne James officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship FWB Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, May 31, 2021, from 3pm to 7pm and Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 3pm to 7pm at the funeral home. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at the church from 11am until service hour of 1pm.
