Ronald "Ronnie" Carney, age 67, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at his home. Ronnie was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 6, 1951, to the late Clay Wilson Carney and Evelyn Maxine White Carney. He was an auto mechanic and loved to hunt and fish and spending time with his grandchildren. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Misty Dianne Carney; and brother, Bobby Carney. He is survived by his wife of over 47 years, Jessie Dianne Fowler Carney; children, Glenda Renee (Jon) Campbell, Melissa Ann (Angie Ricker) Carney, Ronald (Erica) Carney; siblings, Regina (Bill) Roberts, Judy (Willie) Waffird, Jerry (Barbara) Carney, Brenda Binkley, Connie (Kenny) Biggs, Debbie (Tony McCormick, Evelyn Cox and Clay "Bubba" Wilson Carney; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 21, 2019, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Ronald "Bubba" Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Carney Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20th from 2pm to 7pm and continue on Thursday from 10am until service hour of 1pm.
