Roger D. Spann, age 60, of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 8, 1962, to Will Allen Spann and Clara Pearl (Winnett) Spann. He worked as a professional painter for Poole Painting Company. Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Will and Clara Spann; brothers, Henry "Bob" Spann, Tony Spann, Jeff Spann, Steve Spann, and Bill Spann; and sister, Ann Hollis. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Seay) Spann; daughter, Shay Sims (Wesley); step-son, Tommy Welch; brothers, Jim Spann, Charles Spann, and Kenneth Spann (Debbie); sister, Susan Fitzgerald (Billy); nephews, Keith Spann and Adam Spann (Gina); niece, Nickie Humphrey; grandchildren, Mary Moreland (Michael), Trey Moreland, Keaghea Welch, Thomas Welch, Jr., Chris Spann, and Jonathan Spann; great grandchildren, Dylan Helser and AnnaLynn Helser; beloved companion, Rocky; and many close friends. Memorial service will be Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 3pm at Greenville Church 5892 Clarksville Pike, Joelton, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 2pm until the hour of service at 3pm.
