Robert "Bob" Norman Perry, age 69, passed away on December 31, 2021, at Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tennessee. Bob was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on December 7, 1952, to the late Robert Dewell and Luella (Read) Perry. He was a retired First Sergeant with the National Guard and a retired heavy equipment mechanic for Detroit Diesel and W.W. Williams. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Dewell and Luella Perry and his son, Robert 'Cal' Perry. He leaves to cherish his memories his sister, Linda and her husband Phil Saliba; niece, Michelle Helle and her husband Paul, and their children, Brayden and Brooklyn; niece, Melissa Tucker, and her husband Justin; and niece, Christie George and her husband Brian, and their children, Autumn, Edward, and Dorothy; as well as dearest friends, Andy and Misty Langley and their children, Presley, Madelyn and Eryn. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Shiloh Hackett officiating and Melissa and Justin Tucker giving the eulogy. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday, January 7, 2022, from 3pm to 7pm and on Saturday before the service from 10am until service hour of 12noon. Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Langley, Dale Smith, Chris Gilmore, Gary Davis, Gary Newman, and Jason Chance.
