ROBERT "Bob" Wilfred Martin, age 80, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, on December 8, 1936, to the late Wilfred Martin and Rita Ledoux Tremblay. He was a United States Army Veteran, member of the Union IAM735 and retired from AVCO, working as an aviator mechanic. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Pamela Martin Arriaga. He is survived by his sons: Richard (Karen) Martin of Springfield, TN, and Tim (Shelly) Martin of Smyrna, TN; daughter, Suzanne (Keith) Martin-Wilburn of Charlotte, TN; grandchildren, Zach and Ryan Ellis, Devin, Chad, Matthew, Adra, Shelby, Samuel and Grace Martin; great-grandchild, Bryson Ellis; and special friend "Bobby's Buddy" Keith Wilburn. A graveside service will be Friday, March 24, 2017, at 1pm in the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee, with military honors.
