BALTHROP, Robert "Bobby" Lovell, age 67, formerly of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away at his home in Sarasota, Florida, on June 23, 2015. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 19, 1947, to Carl Balthrop and Ira Mae Lovell Balthrop. He worked as an automobile salesman. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy "Dot" Balthrop Morris. He is survived by his son, Robert "Rich" Balthrop of Ooltewah, Tennessee, and daughter, Stacy Schorr of Memphis, Tennessee; grandchildren, Madison Balthrop, Meredith Balthrop, Macy Balthrop, Claudia Schorr, and John Ross Schorr. A visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, from 12noon until 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. His remains will be interred alongside his parents and sister in Mallory's Cemetery in Chapmansboro, Tennessee.
