Robert "Bobby" Leslie Lovell, Jr., age 82, passed away at his home on Saturday, December 3, 2022, surrounded by his family. Bobby was born in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Robert Leslie, Sr, and Thelma Irene (Hooper) Lovell. He was a graduate of Cheatham County High School Class of 1958 and a retired purchasing manager for A.O. Smith (formerly State Industries). Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and survived by his daughter, Cindy Smith and her husband David; son, Darryl Lovell and his wife Diana; brother, Harold Lovell; sister, Peggy Talley and her husband W.A.; grandchildren, Blake Lovell (Courtney), Savannah Wills (Austin), Nicole Dugan (Nick), Austin Pike, and Kyle Smith (Lisa); great-grandchildren, Wesley Wills, Lainey Wills, Luke Lovell, Harleigh Ragsdale, Jackson Ragsdale, Bentley Ragsdale and Easton Dugan. Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Jimmy Harden officiating. Burial will follow in Lovell Family Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6th from 12noon until 7pm and on Wednesday before the service from 10am until service hour of 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Stan Lovell, Luke Wyatt, Orlandus Majors, Kevin Talley, Kyle Smith, Nick Dugan, Randy Perry, and Andy Wilkinson.
