HOLT, Richard Ludlow, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Richard was born in Clarksville, Tennessee on January 9, 1945, to the late Richard "Dick" T. Holt and Katherine Rachel Broadbent Holt. He was a United States Navy veteran. He was former owner of Azac Taxidermy in Ashland City, TN and was well known for his talent of mounting in museums all over the world. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rebecca "Becky" Schmittou. He is survived by his son, Darren (Kim) Holt; his brother, David (Ashley) Holt and his niece/nephew, David (Rachel) McIntire and Donnie Schmittou; and companion, Karen Johnson. Funeral service will be in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 12 noon. Burial will be in Neptune-Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
