Richard "Dick" Henry Johnson, age 71, passed away at his home on December 12, 2019, after a long courageous battle with cancer since April 2016. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on November 21, 1948, to the late Henry Christopher and Virginia Ruth Luckensmeier Johnson. He was a graduate of Peabody Demonstration School and served his country in the United States Army. Dick retired from State Industries after 28 years. He loved to bear hunt, moose hunt and duck hunt before his illness. Preceding him in death are his parents and infant son, Henry Marvin Johnson. Survivors are wife of 43 years, Vicki Cannon Johnson; children, Chris (Tessa Cliburn) Johnson and Heather (Bo) Donelson; brother, John (Judy) Robert Johnson; grandchildren, Holdyn Beshears, Cannon Johnson, Greenley and Gentry Donelson; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service in Felts Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee, will be Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 2pm with Brother Drake Jenkins officiating.
