REBECCA LYNN BLANTON MATTESON, age 48, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 1, 2016. She was born in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, on October 30, 1967, to Charles "Chuck" Lassiter and Patricia Morefield Blanton Gibbs. She was a graduate of Cheatham County Central High School and a college graduate with a degree in Art. She worked as a nurse. She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Morefield Gibbs and one brother. She is survived by her father, Charles "Chuck" Lassiter; daughter, Rosa Nash; son, Dustin John Larson; sister, Debbie Hampton; and companion, Steve Gillihan. Funeral service will be Sunday, September 4, 2016, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, Tennessee.
