Raymond Lee Thompson, age 67, passed away on August 8, 2021, at his home in Ashland City, Tennessee. Raymond was born to J.Y. and Bessie Lee Cassetty Thompson. Raymond is preceded in death by his father, J.Y. Thompson, and loving wife, Connie Louise Thompson. He is survived by his son, Randall Thompson; daughter, Angel Thompson; brothers, Glen Patrick Thompson, and Earnest Larry (Cora) Thompson; sisters, Wanda Gayle (Dewey) Puckett, Sandra Sue Thompson, and Connie Thompson; grandchildren, Micha Devon Ross (Chelsey Shadowens) and Connie Louise Thompson; great-grandchild, Mason Devin Ross; and mother, Bessie Thompson. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 1 pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Leon Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, August 12, 2021, from 11am until the service hour of 1 pm.
