THORNTON, Randy Lee, age 64, passed away on November 13, 2020, at Centennial in Ashland City, Tennessee. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 6, 1956 to the late James Thornton and Beatrice Barnes Thornton. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Beatrice "Nannie B" Barnes Thornton; son, Corey Thornton; and brother, Ronny Thornton. He is survived by his wife, Caren Hoge Thornton; daughter, Megan (Shane) Sutton; grandchildren, Cloie and Owen Sutton; brother, Donnie Thornton; sister, Montie (Mike) Langley and many nieces and nephews. Randy was an electrician for Local Union 429. Funeral service will Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17th, from 3pm to 7pm and on Wednesday from 10am until service hour of 1pm. Serving as active pallbearers are Whitney Coleman, Andy Langley, James McDougal, James Thornton, Adam Hoge, Kevin Eslick, Ronnie Rhoads, Shane Sutton, Owen Sutton.
