Phillip Clayton Lance Sr., age 68, passed away on October 8, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare Clarksville in Montgomery, Tennessee. Phillip was born in Nashville, Tennessee on June 12, 1953. He was a security guard in the Nashville area. Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lance and Daisy Pauline Jones Lance; sister, Vicki Henson; and brother, Roger Lance. He is survived by his wife, April Lance; sons, Phillip Clayton Lance Jr. and Johnny Shane Lance; daughter, Toni Elaine Lance; brothers, Jerry Lance, Gary Lance, Don Lance; sister, Joy Hudson; grandchildren, Zach Lance, Nick Lance, Hailey Lance, Christian Lance, James Mickle, and Hannah Morrison; and great-grandchildren, Ellie McCarson and Avery Lance. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 14th, 2021 at 1pm in the chapel with Bart Pemberton officiating. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memorial Gardens at 3pm. Visitation will be October 13th, from 3pm to 7pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Lance, Bubba Lance, Jonathan Henson, Scott Hudson, Ronnie Thomas, Wayne Mickle, Nick Lance, and James Mickle.
