Obituary

Sharon Paulette Parker Pulley, 69, passed peacefully at home with her family by her side in Ashland City, TN, after a hard-fought battle with cancer on June 18, 2022.
A celebration of life visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 4pm to 8pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home LLC, Ashland City, TN.
Paulette was born February 20, 1953, in Bowling Green KY to Roy & Eunice (Coker) Parker. Her father was a retired Army Sergeant and farmer, and her mother was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother & homemaker.
Paulette graduated from Cheatham County Central High, Class of 1971, and lived her entire life in Tennessee. She worked at Acme Boot for several years, and then at State Industries, all while she also farmed tobacco. When she stopped farming, Paulette worked as a head cook at B.J.'s Family Restaurant and then at Murph's Country Music Barn until she retired in 2021. She was well known for her delicious pies and loved baking them for the special people in her life. She was a hard-working generous, and kindhearted soul, and a devoted mother and grandmother.
Paulette is survived by her daughter Sharon Hively (Mike); her son Steve Norvell (Amanda); her beloved grandson Lance Corporal Brayden Hively; brother Tommy Parker (Jenny); sisters, Helen Potter, Viki Litz (Ted), Jean Baron-White and Teresa Boyd (Jeff); 15 nieces & nephews
She was preceded in death by her father and mother Roy and Eunice (Coker) Parker, grandparents Thurman and Rubye Bush Coker and George & Frances Johnson Parker.
